After working with AirX across various print, design and web needs, they enlisted our help with one of their latest ventures. AirX is a private jet operator, serving customers in the UK and Internationally. After countless encounters with aircraft maintenance companies who provided a mediocre, unreliable service with extortionate billing, they decided to create their own.
With a fleet large enough to warrant having their own, AirX set up an aircraft maintenance team that could service not only their own, but also privately-owned and business-owned planes.
The brief was to design, build and launch a website to help promote AirX Jet Support’s services.
The website needed to feature the AirX branding but clearly sit separately to the main AirX website. It needed to have good UX (user experience), be informative and clearly mark how people could get in touch quickly if they needed to. It needed to reflect the professionalism of the business along with the ease and transparency that the brand emanates.
Jet Support offer both rapid response support and general maintenance checks, so it was important to direct website visitors to the correct location quickly. The homepage was designed to feature a single click call button for urgent AOG (‘aircraft on ground’) support as well as a link to their Whatsapp profile. This is placed clearly at the bottom of all pages across the website to make access easy for users, no matter where they are on the site. All of their other, less urgent services are also clearly linked from the top of the homepage also.
They have three key locations which needed to be highlighted throughout. These were therefore listed at the bottom of all key pages, along with a contact form. This creates consistency across the website and also encourages users to contact the business on various occasions.
Jet Support offer a variety of services, each with their own, more extensive service list. Icons have been used to help clearly identify the overall key areas they cover which helps direct users to what they need and avoid customers getting lost or confused.
Trust, transparency and reputation is very important to the AirX brand and so their certification is showcased in the menu and from the homepage.
Other features include a ‘news’ area to host a blog for regular news updates, a ‘careers’ page where their latest job vacancies can be listed and a dedicated ‘aircraft management’ page detailing their management services.
The final website is user-friendly, professional, precise and attractive. It sits apart from the AirX website but links seamlessly to it where needed, ensuring enough consistency and harmony between the two without duplication.
The clear quick links to help direct users to exactly what they need and where they need to be is effective for their customers who require urgent response.
Services are broken down to general areas to make navigating more detailed information as simple as possible and clear CTAs are used consistently throughout.
“We recently launched our Jet Support website and both that, and all the previous work produced, has been of the highest standard and very well received in our industry. I have used many well known, London based, agencies in the past that turn out to be hugely expensive and completely disjointed. Ginger Root is perfectly sized to be able to handle every request I have – and some have been very strange! They operate like a tight-knit outsourced marketing team that make it all very effortless.”- James Collins, AirX Jet Support -
